The Liberty Hotel
Cambridge Seven Associates, working with preservation architect Ann Beha Architects, transformed former Charles Street Jail into a new four-star hotel. Through restoration, reuse and reinvention, this abandoned structure was reborn as a vital commercial development that incorporated historically significant elements of the building and now complements the urban fabric of its Beacon Hill neighborhood. Developed by Carpenter & Company, The Liberty Hotel is a full service hotel that features 298 guest rooms, a conference facility, meeting rooms, a ballroom, health club, lounge, restaurants and other attractive amenities.
