The Boston Museum

The Boston Museum is designed to serve as a pivotal link between the city’s renowned districts and sites, giving visitors a fascinating glimpse into four centuries of Boston history. Located adjacent to the historic Blackstone Block, the museum will provide modern, indoor facilities for the Haymarket pushcarts and Community Marketplace vendors, while its community and education center spaces serve the public with educational programs. The building’s stunning five-story glass atrium showcases four floors of exhibits in five themed galleries: People, Sports, Politics, Growth and Innovation. Designed to green standards, the museum will also feature rooftop green spaces with striking downtown and harbor vistas as well as a fifth-level function space where visitors can see the panorama of Boston, accompanied by the history of important landmarks and suggestions for further exploration.
