A Respite for Healing

MGH Healing Garden
Cambridge Seven, with landscape firm Halvorson Design Partnership, designed the 8,000 SF Healing Garden atop the eighth floor roof adjacent to the Cancer Center in MGH's Yawkey Center, also designed by Cambridge Seven. The Garden allows patients and visitors to enter into a landscaped setting for rest and solace. An enclosed, glazed pavilion provides shelter from the elements. It is designed to be used as a year round respite from the hospital for those patients and friends who frequent the Cancer Center. Its location offers extraordinary views of the Boston skyline and Charles River Basin.

In memory of my mother Martha Conde, she loved sitting in the Healing Garden...thank you!
