The Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas redefines the Hard Rock experience in a city that set the bar for unique restaurant design. Visitors enter the Rock Shop, a retail space with dynamic floor patterns and articulated ceiling planes that leads, via a centrally-located elevator and escalator, into the Café on the second floor. The Bar, with its sweeping curves and banks of monitors, is a tour de force. On the third floor, a "Live Venue" provides a welcoming concert space with displays of speakers, lights and monitors reminiscent of the stage, a collection of microphones transformed through the use of LED technology into playful lighting, and truss work that allows for the suspension of a DJ booth over the bar.
