Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame

Cambridge Seven's exhibits for Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame—a dynamic new facility designed in collaboration with Stantec and located in Canada Olympic Park—celebrate Canadian sports heroes and legends. The stories and experiences of Canada’s athletes come to life through a rich mixture of innovative and exciting interactive exhibits as well as cherished artifacts on display. Nine themed galleries, organized by sport and accessed by "timeline" exhibit ramps and stairs, showcase the achievements of athletes who have made a significant contribution to Canadian sports history. The exhibit galleries surround and provide views into the Central Grand Hall, a heroic space containing the Hall of Fame and six national trophy exhibits. In the various galleries, visitors can shadow box with Lenox Lewis, step into the goalie position and try to defend the net, experience the impact of a fast-speed pitch, join a wheelchair race against Chantal Petitclerc, and explore the museum’s amazing collection of sports and Olympic memorabilia.
