Cambridge Seven Associates was retained by the US Navy to design the USS Nautilus Museum, a museum as well as a pier and mooring for the USS Nautilus, the world's first nuclear submarine. The dynamic USS Nautilus Museum building reflects the giant scale of today's submarines, and frames an immense view of the conning tower of the Nautilus. Cambridge Seven designed the museum building and all exhibits in them museum. The exhibits explore the history of submersible vessels, submarine technology, the US Navy and undersea research.
