The Tria Hotel was recently expanded to accommodate 122 guestrooms with the addition of a new wing and renovations throughout the entire facility. C7A was retained to design the addition of the new wing as well as upgrade the existing building with new fixtures, furniture and equipment and alterations to the existing rooms and suites. Public spaces, including the lobby, restaurant and meeting rooms were redesigned to create a fresh, brighter look for the property. The new wing, sheathed in corrugated metal siding with a bronze finish, compliments the brick of the original building, while vertical window openings were replicated to tie the two structures together in one harmonious composition. The result is a unified hotel, contemporary in feel, and renewed to continue serving guests and visitors within Cambridge.
