C7A returned to redesign the Charles Hotel conference center to update the meeting space and create new boardrooms. Maintaining the Shaker-inspired interiors that guests have known over the years, C7A interspersed “Shaker” style furniture with contemporary classic furniture to give the hotel its academic, intellectual appearance and signature New England style. Encompassing 10,000 sf, the Pavilion is one of two conferencing suites in the hotel. The meeting rooms include new finishes, state-of-the-art audiovisual components, electronic room displays and internal wire management systems. New light fixtures were created to customize the meeting spaces and provide a series of light levels appropriate for various event planning needs.
