C7A was commissioned by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to design a traveling exhibit for the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge. Featuring swirling nature murals on the side and a watershed map on the back, the traveling exhibit consists of two trailers, a 28-foot "immersion experience" trailer and a 16-foot trailer containing eight portable exhibits. Visitors enter the immersion trailer and experience a wetland area at dusk, a vernal pool, a forest at night and finally suburbia at dawn. Seven kiosks set up outside the trailer introduce visitors to the National Wildlife Refuge System and Silvio O. Conte's dream to make the Connecticut River "clean, swimmable and fishable"while an interactive model of the Connecticut River Valley illustrates the flow of water through the watershed.
