Cambridge Seven worked with the Boston Children's Museum and the Capital Children's Museum of Washington, DC, on 'Five Friends from Japan,' which was funded by the Freeman Foundation Asian Initiative.  It was designed to introduce American children to Japanese culture, and the exhibit began traveling to ten U.S. cities in 2004. Cambridge Seven’s exhibit design focused on five Japanese schoolchildren, their homes, and their interests. After meeting their new 'friends' in a Japanese schoolroom, the American children visit their homes, where fashion, music, art, sports and food provide the exhibit framework for comparative interactive experiences.
