The Baltimore Washington International Airport Observation Lounge presents a behind-the-scenes look at commercial air travel through interpretive exhibits. Cambridge Seven developed exhibits on takeoff and landing, historic air travel, weather, and air control as well as a flight simulator, a radio listening station, identification flipbooks, and a children's play area. Large artifacts are displayed, including an aircraft wing, fuselage section, cockpit, and vertical stabilizer. A cross-section of a jet is used in the exhibit, as well. Interestingly enough, this same jet was used to transport members of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team.
