Cambridge Seven, in conjunction with Museum's staff and Michael Spock, the son of world-renowned baby doctor Benjamin Spock, developed the exhibit program and master plan for the Boston Children's Museum. The innovative design integrates large-scale "artifacts" within the waterfront warehouse building, and includes performance galleries, accessible study storage units, a closed-circuit TV studio, a Japanese merchant's house, and exhibits on Native Americans, work and health. Cambridge Seven was also retained by the Children's Museum to study artifact conservation, storage, and museum policies for collections, which resulted in the development of on-floor study-storage units that relate to specific exhibits.
