Blue Chip Properties selected Cambridge Seven to design the Residences at The W Hotel, Providence, which, when built, will be the tallest residential building in Rhode Island. Designed for a sophisticated clientele of city dwellers, the project boasts 76 luxury condominium units ranging in size from 900 sf one bedroom to 2,500 sf three bedroom or greater, along with 191 guest rooms. Rising 35 stories, the building will have commanding views of the skyline, canal, Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University. Roof gardens, health spa, and private terraces add to the luxury of the project. Satisfying the developer’s vision of integrating the building with the surrounding urban context, Cambridge Seven has created a modern, heroic building of glass and cast stone that will be a dramatic new addition to the city.
