Riverfront Office Park, designed by Cambridge Seven in fast-growing Kendall Square in Cambridge, commands a spectacular view of the Boston skyline. Its long rectangular site prompted a two-phase design by C7A with connected buildings, altogether providing 625,000 sf of office space. Clad in traditional brick but streamlined by ribbon windows and punctuated by recessed mirrored slots at the lobby entrances, the buildings introduce the modern spirit of Kendall Square's economic revitalization. A pleasant pedestrian environment is provided at street level through an arcade with shops, public art and exhibition space. Tenants include multi-national corporations such as IBM and AT&T.
