Cambridge Seven Associates completed the design of a new 640,000 sf ambulatory building and underground garage at Massachusetts General Hospital, which provides a new front door for the entire MGH campus. As architect for the design, documentation and construction administration of the shell and core of the Yawkey Center and underground garage, Cambridge Seven was also responsible for the public design review process with historic agencies as well as neighborhood groups. C7A is currently completing the master plan for a six-year expansion of the MGH campus, which includes another C7A project, the reuse of a Boston historic landmark, the Charles Street Jail, as a major hotel. The Yawkey Center was done in association with Michael Fieldman Architect.
