Cambridge Seven designed the expansion and renovation of the historic Atlantic City Convention Center. The building, which is on the Historic Register and dates back to 1929, was known for having the largest clear span ever for its time, and at one time was home to the Phildelphia Eagles. In addition to renovating the Center, Cambridge Seven transformed an adjacent city block into convention space combined with retail activity, and the project as a whole restores – both visually and functionally – the Center's original relationship to the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. An arcade and new lobby have been reintroduced along the boardwalk, with an overlook designed for the newly restored and reopened existing ballroom on the second level. The project was done in association with Lloyd Jones Fillpot.
