Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc. has completed preliminary design of the new Champions Center for the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. This stunning new complex allows for the consolidation of the University's teams into a complex that will have practice basketball courts, a field house with an indoor track, tennis courts, a weight room, lockers, varsity team office suites, a reception area, broadcasting facilities, a sports medicine center and the Legacy Hall, which will house exhibits and memorabilia commemorating the University's sports tradition and glory. Located between the Mullins Center and the Central Heating Plant, the Champions Center will complete a campus precinct entirely designed by C7A.
