With its dormered additions and new shingle cladding, the Performing Arts Center at Tabor Academy is a distinctive focus on the campus waterfront. The Center's major component, a 652-seat theatre, was designed by Cambridge Seven Associates to balance acoustics, lighting, and stage configurations for many performance types. An addition provides space for an open workshop, scenery/costume storage, dressing rooms, and an exterior platform for outdoor presentations.
