The Northeastern Alumni Center is the University's first facility devoted to alumni events for the 88-year-old Alumni Association. Alumni now gather on the top floor of the restored Columbus Place, an historic 6-story structure that once housed a tobacco company. The premier venue for gatherings, lectures and social activities is the Alumni Pavilion, a corner space offering a majestic view of the Boston skyline. An adjacent informal lounge provides a full-service bar, online E-Bar, and a relaxing “living room” feel. The Alumni Pavilion abuts a multi-use dining and meeting space that is home to the new Faculty Club, its full-service kitchen, and Presidents’ suite, taking advantage of the top floor’s column-free, tobacco-drying space with its distinctive saw-toothed ceiling for an elegant dining experience.
