Affectionately dubbed “The 'Half-Baked Forum,” this idea was initiated in October 2001 as an informal, periodic gathering at C7A to focus on the new ideas that fuel our work. The sessions occur mostly on Friday mornings on a roughly biweekly basis. Open to the entire office, the Forum tackles historic and emerging topics about design from car 'Styling' to the intricacies in the use of 'Zwischenraum' for buildings. So far, the gatherings have included spirited discussions about current ideas, brainstorming sessions about our own projects and guest speakers as well as field trips to thought-provoking work in the area. 'In-process' ideas are always welcome, and round carbohydrates are usually available for the early risers. Forums can be discussions, competitions, guest speakers, or field trips.
