Cambridge Seven Associates won a design competition for the right to completely re-envision an old steel mill site called South Side Works. Cambridge Seven is working with The Soffer Organization to develop Pittsburgh's Monongahela Riverfront to incorporate a 200-room hotel, residential complex of 120 units of luxury housing, and a new Class “A” Office building of about 120,000 sf. The development is a cohesive ensemble combining dramatic yet sensitive architecture within a planned open space network of courtyards, plazas and "green" roof terraces that together, create a harmonious urban place.
